THE lONIC.
Wellington, Nov. 18. The lonic, from London, via way ports, -arrived in the harbour at 5.45 a.m., aud was berthed at 8.30 a.m. Her dates are London Oct". 3, Plymouth Oct. 4, Teneriffe Oct. 9, Capetown Oct. 25, and Hobart Nov. 13. Exoeptionally fine weather was met throughout the voyage, which occupied 44 dayß 21 hours, the total Bteaming time being 42 days 17 hours 46 minutes. She brings 128 passengers, IS bags mails, 28 boxes parcel post, and 2000 tons cargo for New Zealand. During the passage Mrs T. Young, a saloon passenger for Sydney, died of inflammation of tho bowels ; otherwise the trip was .uneventful. For Christchurch : First saloon— Misßea Campbell, Hicks, Baber, Messrs J. Leitch, F. V. Baber, Montgomery ; second saloon — Misses Dryburgh and Eayner, Mesdamee Dryburgh and Eayner, Messrs J. M'Phereon and J. W. Blake ; steerage— Mesdamea Schmidt, M'Fayden, Miss M'Fayden Messrs Palmer, Fleming, Mettiug, Brown. Hill, Kennedy, Neill, Schmidt (3), Butler Eichie, Blair (2), Montgomery and Hird.
