DIVORCE.
DUNEDIN, SKrT. 25. At the Supreme Gourfc to-day, the case of Atkinson v. Atkinson came up in one of its phase 3, the action being 1 for an injunction to restrain defendant from, further prosecuting proceedings under the Divorce aud Matrimonial Causes Act. Mr Jellicoe, of Wellington, appeared for plaintiff, William Atkinson, of Wellington, and Mr Joynt, of Chriatchurcb, for Isabella Atkinson, of Picton. Mr Justice Williams decided to refune the injunction, with costs as if JMOO were claimed. To-morrow the case will come on in another way, in the shape of Atkinson v. Atkinson and Thomas, co-respondent, the husband's petition for divorce. INDECENT LITERATUEE. At a meeting of the Otago branch of the Medical Association a resolution was passed — " That this branch views with alarm the spread of immoral and corrupt publications, and would urge on the other I branches the question of how the growth of ! indecent advertisements and literature can best be met, with a view of taking concerted action."
