OPENING OP THE ROYAL NAVAL HOME. The Eoyal Naval Home was opened today by Lord Carrington. There was a brilliant gathering on the occasion. BRITISH SUBJECTS AT THE NEW HEBRIDES. A deputation representing the Austra-lian-New Hebrides Company waited on Sir H. Parkea to-day with a request similar to those recently preferred to Mr Gillies, Premier of Victoria. Sir H. Parkes asked the deputation to send a memorial to Government, enumerating the grievances ,of British subjects, which he promised to forward to the Imperial Government. [Pee Pekss Association.]
