♦ [Peb Pbkss Association.] DUNEDIN, June 25. J The Weldon subscription amounted to £2,10. News has been received of the death in England of Mr Chetham Strode, a Dunedin ex-Magistrate. Feeny's case, bigamy, was remanded till to-morrow. A slight altercation took place between Mr Solomon, who appears for the informant, and one of the Justices, the former having suggested that the latter should not adjudicate, seeing he had acted on the former hearing. The Justice charged learned counsel with being impertinent. Eventually, it was agreed that Mr Carew should hear the caße.
