[feom oub own cobrebpondbnt.] WELLINGTON, Junk 23. A caucus of the Opposition will be hold to-morrow. Mr Ballance's followers are naturally anything but pleased at the position they are askod to take. This position is one of waiting. The Government wantß them to wait for the Financial Statement. When that is delivered they are to wait again for the reconstruction of the Ministerialist Party, and perhaps this reconstruction may mean a new Government. Then the Opposition will have to wait again to see what the new Government will do. The new Government might adopt the whole of the proposals in the Financial Statement or only part thereof. Altogether, the Opposition feel that it may be played with, ; and would like to know who its opponents really are, and what their policy is likely to bo. Friends and enemies agree aa to I the genuine nature of the Premier's illness. I
