Fridat, June 20. AFTERNOON SITTING. The Council met at 2.30. MESSAGES. Messages were received from the ■Governor referring to the death of the Hons Lahmann and Campbell, and the resignation of the Hon Mr Waterhouse. LEAVE OF ABSENCE. Leave of absence was granted during tho session to the Hons Oliver and Fraser. BILLS. The Attobnby-Genebal gave notice to introduce the following Bills:—Oaths Act Amendment Bill, Trustees Act Amendment, Arbitration Act Amendment, Mercantile Agents Act Amendment, Children's Protection Act, Public Bodies, Corrupt Practices Act. ADDEESS-IN-BEPLY. The Hon E. C. J. Stevens gave notice that Dr Grace would move the Address-in-Eeply. The Council rose at 3 p.m. till Tuesday.
