At to-day's sitting of the General Wesleyan Conference of Australasia, the Rev William Kelynock, D.D., wa3 elected President. The question of the right of makinginterchanges has been threshed out at length. It arose through, the action of the Victorian Conference in giving the Rev Mr Edgar a circuit in Victoria in opposition to the decision of the General Conference, which had transferred him to New Zealand. A resolution was carried by 51 to 46, regretting that the wish of the General Conference had not been complied with. '
