In the Appeal Court, this morning, Judges Williams, Denniston and Conolly are hearing a motion in, re the Law Practitioners' Act, iv re M'Connel and Douglas, to have M'Connel, a solicitor in Christchurch, struck off the rolls, on the grounds of excessive bills of costs rendered by M'Connel. , Messrs H. D. Bell and Tripp are appearing on behalf of the Christchurch Law Society in support of the motion. Mr S. Levy appears for M'Connel.
