Beautiful weather was experienced at Eangiora to-day lor the Autumn Meeting i of the North Canterbury Jockey Club, and there was a very fair attendance on the course when racing commenced at halfpast twelve. Landaborougb, Bloodsucker and Waipapa ran together to the first hurdle/which they jumped a couple of lengths in front of Isidore, but approaching the next obstacle Waipapa drew away and was in command aa they ran past the stand. Half a mile from home the field closed up, and the pace improved. Waipapa was the first beaten, and Bloodsucker was at the head of affairs a3 they turned into the straight, but Landsborough was catching the leader at every stride, and a splendid race between the pair resulted in Bloodsucker getting home first by half a head. Time — 4rnin 13sec. An objection to the winner, on the ground that Lyford interfered with Landsborough, was sustained, und the stakes ' were awarded to Landßborough. Dividend £1 14s 6d.
