Raven, which had been delayed in port through her officers taking part in -the Egeria's court-martial, Bailed for Plymouth this morning. Federation. In the Legislative Assembly, Sir Henry Parkes moved — " That the Federation resolutions passed at the Melbourne Conference be agreed to." He explained that it was necessary that the delegates chosen to represent New South Wales at the next Federation Conference Bhould not be violently opposed to the Federation proposals, and that was tho reason why Mr G. R. Dibbs, member for Murrum"bidgee, bad not been included in the list. Sir H. Parkes assured the Opposition that Mr Dibbs had not been omitted because of any personal or political feeling. Tho motion was adjourned for a week to consider Sir H. Parkes' speech. G eneral Wesleyan Conference. The g£R?T&I Wesleyan, Conference of Australasia ha 3 commenced its sittings. MKLBOtTRNE, Mat 8. Victorian Divorce Act. The Right Rev Samuel Thornton, Bishop of Ballarat, in his address to the Anglican Assembly, which is at present sitting at Ballarat, directed the clergy and laity .never to avail themselves of tho Victorian t>ivorce Act, and he especially exhorted I the clergy :on no account to re-marry persons who had been divorced under it. ADELAIDE, Mat 8. Australian Primacy. The Anglican Synod, at its meeting, resolved that on the death or resignation of the Bishop elect, the necessary connection of the primacy with the See of Sydney -should cease. ..„,..„..
