Merry's b o Surefoot, by Wisdom, dam by (inlojmi— Mlbb Foote, 9st 1 Baron de Rothschild's oh o he Nord, by Tristan — LaNooe, 9at ... 2 Duk«» of Wf.Bt minster's br o Blao Green, by Coeruleus— Augeio, 9st . ... ... 3 Kirkhnni nnd Nr.relan were scratched. [Surefoot ran four times last season, wiDmngthe Woodcote Stakes at Epsom, the New Stakes at ABCot, and the Pindon Stakes at Goodwood. His only defeat was in the Ascot Biennial, when he ran second to Semolina. Total winnings, £2411. Le Nord ran half a dozen times, and won the Knighton Plate at Laiceater, the Molecomb Stakes at Goodwood, the Hopeful Stakes, and Dewhurst Plate at Newmarket. Total winnings, i 23125 7s. Blue Green ran five times, winning the Criterion Stakes and Haughton Stakes at Newmarket. Total winnings, £1073, Surefoot is engaged in the Derby and St Leger, but LeNord is only in the Derby and Blue Green only in the St Leger.]
