Mr* Sadler, a gentleman of means, who first sent his .on out to Taranaki through Mr Courtney's agency, and then followed with his family, says Mr Courtney never posed in England as a Government emigration agent. He Bays Mr Courtney waß not wrong in sending youths from towns out here to learn to become farmers, and one told him that hiß lot in Taranaki. was far better than his father's had been with corresponding age at Home- There are a large number of these cai-ets in Taranaki, and, with the extwption of a few f ellows who, when in .'the Colony, will not even suit themselives to the requirements of farm life- _re all doing well.
