GRAIN SALES.
o THIS DAY. Messrs H. Matson and Co. (associated with the National M. and A. Company of N.Z., Limited, offered a quantity of grain and produce, and cleared a fair percentage of the catalogue at the following prices :— Wheat. — Foils' wheat, broken, 2s ; whole, up to 2s 7£d. No prime milling. Oats. — Duns sold at Is 7d. For white oats the reserves were prohibitive. Barlby. — No buyers. Potatoes. — Derwents 20a te> 355, kidneys to 255. Pbas. — Wrinkled peas 4s, blues 2s -id. Grass Seeds. — No sale. Messrs Dickkk and Co. report a good attendance at their sale to-day and fair bidding, which cleared all line3 offering at current rates. Wheat. — For milling wheat 2s 9d was obtained for lots offering, and seconds sold up to 2s 3d. Oats brought a fair demand, and good bright samples of feed sold up to Ib 7d. Barlbt.— Small lota of feed changed bands at 2s Id. Grass Seeds.— Second quality ryegrass was sold at 2s 7d,
