Wirtn's Circus Doorkeeper
[Pee Peees Association.] TIMARU, Feb. 7. Anderson, the doorkeeper of Wirth's circus, was fined o3 and costs for striking s bystander while driving off a mob of boya from the tent ono night here. The Eesident Magistrate spoke strongly against the man's taking the lav,' into his own hands. Defendant said he was obliged to do it to protect the property. The fine was nominal, as the defendant was brought from. Christchurch.
