A petition for a concrete channel oi , the North side of Cashel street was receired and the Works Committee wa3 authorised to take the matter in hand under certait conditions. The Clerk was directed to eu( for unpaid contributions towards the cost of the new channels. The Works Committae reported, re Mr PuachelTa letter tbat he be informed that the work foi which tha clay was promised has been carried oufc., and that no clay from the Canal Beserve enn be given him by the Board. The Committee also recommended that sundry persons be ordered to trim hxd^es and trees overhanging footpaths, The zeport waa adopted. The Finance Committed reported receipts since last meeting, .£l6O Is lOd; credit balance at Bank, .£lO9 Oa 9d. Sundry accounts wero aliso recommended for payment. The report -was adopted. The Board then ea.t Ji3 the Local Board of Health, The Inspector's report was read, and several orders to abate nuisances mado^and the meeting terminated.
