Prize Distributions.

RANGIORA. The customary distribution of prizes to the children attending the Rangiora Borough Bchool took place at two o'clock this afternoon. Mr H. Boyd, Chairman of Committee, presided, and presented the prizes. The ministers of the town, the Mayor (Mr E. R. Good), and Mr T. W. Rowe, M.A. (Principal of the Rangiora High Bchool), were present by invitation, and each spoke a few words of congratulation, encouragement, or advice to the children. Members of the School Committee and a number of parents were also present, and the proceedings, which were brought to a cloee with hearty cheers for the teachers,, were-oi" a mostiiappy .nature throughout.
