AUCKLAND WOOL SALES.
[Pbb Peees Association.] AUCKLAND, Nov. 27. The first ■wool sales of the season for the Auckland district were held to-day by Messrs A. Buckland and Sons, Hunter and Nolan, and G. W. Binney and Sona. There was a large attendance of buyerslarger, in fact, than for ten years past— and as competition was keen* the prices realised were very satisfactory, indicating a general rise of about a penny per lb. They ranged aa follows :— Longwools, 7d , to-9*d.
