By the subsidence of a mine at Recklinghausen, a town thirty mileß South-west of here, 250 miners have been entombed alive. Food is sent down by means of air pipes, and it is expected that all of them will be rescued. [Recklinghausen. ia a Westphalian town, Minister being the capital. Westphalia is. principally notable by reason of Krupp's steel works, claimed to be the largest in the world, established at EB3en. The Prussian Province owes ita prosperity to the mineral treasures of coal and iron with, which it abounds, and to the industries connected therewith.]
