Bowled Out. [fbom oub bpecial cobbespondent.] WELLINGTON, Sept. 13. An impudent attempt at a Government job has juat been discovered in the technical Bill brought down yesterday, which is supposed to authorise the construction of two Bmall railway sidings. A clause had been inserted to make twenty-two miles of the Auckland-Helens ville line, costing .£IOO,OOO. Later. Owing to the indignation excited in the i House, Government withdraws theHelens-ville-Auckland railway job.
