Betting on the Caulfield Cup.
[Peb Peess Association.] WELLINGTON, Sept. 13. Sydney papers by the Wakatipu state that about JB3OOO at 100 to 3 was booked in favour of Newmaster for the Caulfield Cup, and 2000 to 80 taken about Anteeus for the Melbourne Cup. Dunkeld had backers at 7 to 1 for the V.E.C. Derby.
