CANTERBURY RUGBY UNION.
A meeting of the Committee was held at "Warner's Hotel last evening; present — Pr Moorflouse (Chairman), Messrs Beswick, Cohen, CotterilL Garrard, Hoban, Fuller, Keatoven and Harris (Hon Sec). Correspondence was read from the Auckland, Otago and Wellington Unions relative to the disqualification of W. Wynyard and Taiaroa, the effect of which has already appeared in these columns. .It was decided to abandon all Senior Cup matches in view of the postponement to Sept. 21 of the Otago match.
