WADDINGTON.

Monday night will be long remembered at Waddington aa one of th© stormiest ever experienced. About eight o'clock the wind, which had been blowing steadily all day, increased to a gale, and by nine o'clock there was a regular hurricane. Stacks overturned, trees blown over, windows broken by the atones which were flying in all directions, and dilapidated chimneys testify to the strength of the storm. Luckily about half-past; ten rain came down in torrents, thus laying the j dust and preventing any more soil leaving , the paddocks. The farmers around here have J suffered heavily, the seed bedß having I drifted up under the fences.
