SYDNEY, Mat 8. The Lnheok has arrived from Samoa. All was quiet when eho lefb. Tamascse .still occupies his old position, and Mataafa is encamped at the baok of the town. Both are awaiting the result of the Berlin Conference. Admiral Kimberley, of the United States, has issued a proclamation advising them to sink their disputes and become friends and brothers. Ex-Consul Knappehasleft/And the new German Consul, Stembel, has arrived. The American'storeship Monogatela has arrived. The Rocktor whioh was chartered at Sydney to take the American sailors home, has sailed witli 450 men for San Francisco. Only eight] are now left. The guns have been recovered from the Trenton and Adler. H.DLS. Rapid visited Sawarrow Island a thousand miles East of Samoa, and hoieted the .British flag.
