[Pxb Pbbbs Association.] WELLINGTON, Nov. 20. The general revision of the new Volunteer Regulations is now taking place, and itisexpeoted that they will be gazetted this week. It is not intended that they shall be brought into operation until the commencement of the next Volunteer year. It is expected that immediately after the arrival of the Hon E. Mitcheleon on ' Thursday, the appointments of Eailway Commissioners, and to the vacant Judgeship, will be declared. The writ for the new election for the Lincoln seat has not yet been issued, on [ account of the absence of the Speaker of ! the House in Melbourne. No official inj formation seems to have been received in Wellington of Mr O'Callaghan's resignation. The Minister for Education is expected to leave Melbourne for Wellington, on Nov. 2*7. . ...-•
