Total of Battalion .„ ... 288 Garrison Band, Bandmaster Searell ... w a Total on parade... ... „. 310 The Battalion paraded on the drillahed ground, where it was put through bayonet exercise and a few movements. It then marched down Montreal street to tH« South Belt, where the men went through the manual and firing exercise, after which. the Battalion was marched through the town to the dxillshed, and dismissed. The work was creditably done. The marching was steady, but a reprehensible tendency to talking in the ranks was occasionally noticeable. .
