Cury and Gasparini.
CTJST'S EESOLVE. [Peb Pbebs Association.] WELLINGTON, August 10. Cury wes released from custody tbis afternoon. He states that he will remain in this Colony, and by his future life show that he is not undeserving of the privilege of being a free man. Gnsparini, the French reeidiviste, will be sent to Sydney, eh. route to New Caledonia, in the Wakatipu tomorrow. In the Supreme Court, with regard to Mr Jellicoe'a notice of appeal to the Privy Council sgainst the ruling of the Court on the application for a rule nisi for a writ of habeas corpus in the case of Gasparini, His Honor Eaid he possessed no" power to give leave to appeal in criminal cases, nor had he any jurisdiction to state a case for the Privy Council.
