Nine thousand four hundred quarters of Australian -wheat, September shipment, have been sold at 87s 3d. Five thousand one hundred quarters, Anf?ust shipment, have been sold at 87s. The market is nowquieter. New Zealand cheese, 525. SSTONEY, August 9. Potatoes sre dull. Warraambool are quoted at 60s; Baliarats, Gas and 703 ; New Zealand samples, 70s to 755; Tasmanians, 735. Onions £7 ss. Milling wbeat i 3 ia fair demand. New Zealand, 8s 4d ; local, 3s 6d to 33 8d ; chickwheab, 2a 9d ; milling oata, 23 Gd ; best feed oats, •j-s 2d to 2s 4d. Barley. — Cape samples are quoted nominally at 2s 9d to 3s ; English, teed, 3s j nialtiug, 4a 6d. Bran is dull ; local sorts, 9?d to lOd ; New Zealand, 9i-d to9M.
