Tea Squalls and Tea Fights.
As we are now in the midst of winter, with its attendant cold, bleak nights, when people are forced, as a matter of necessity, to seek amusement indooi*3 in the shape of soirees, tea-fights, <S_c, perhaps a word in season on the secret of the success of such-like social gatherings may not be out of the way. Eirst aud foremost, be careful you set beforo your friends tea, and not some of the wishywashy dishwater-coloured stuff too commonly sold nowadays as such. If you impress upon the promoters of your *'swarrie3," as Sain Weller would call them, the necessity for using Wardell" a Tea, and nothing else, you will have the satisfaction of putting your guests in a good humour to begin with, and the result is sure to be a jolly good tea-fight.
