Tea Squalls and Tea Fights.
As we are now in the midst of winter, with its attendant cold, bleak nights, when people are forced, as a matter of necessity, to seek amusement indoors in. the shape of soirees, tea-fights, &c, perhaps a word in season on the secret of the success of such-like social gatherings may not be out of the way. First and foremost, be careful you eet before your friends tea, and not some of the wishywashy dishwater-coloured stuff too commonly sold nowadays as such. If yon impress upon the promoters of your "swanies," as Sam Weller would call tbem, the necessity for using Wardell'a Tea, and nothing else, you will have the satisfaction of putting your guests in a good humour to begin with, and the result is sure- to be a jolly good tea-fight.
