He appears confident that Gfeneral Harrison will be elected President of America, as English advocates are injuring President Cleveland's prospects. THE SEIZURE OP BRITISH SEALERS. The Americans have given orders to stop the seizure of British sealers inßehring's Straits. THE MAORI FEUD. In the House of Commons, Sir John Gorst, replying to a question asked by Mr Macarthur, said that the Maori riot in the North Island of New Zealand had no political significance. THE NEW WIMBLEDON. In consequence of the prevention of further shooting meetings at Wimbledon, it is probable that the riflemen will meet at Patcham Common, Sussex. The Government opposed the meeting being held in Richmond Park.
