The steamer Mahinapua, which arrived hero from Lyttelton this morning, lost her starboard propeller (the steamer has twin Borews) when fifty miles fiom Lyttelton, and came on working the other propeller. During a late sitting of the Manchester Police Court, a violent scene took place between two women prisoners, who attacked each other in the dock. A child which was in the arms of one of them had to be rescued by policemen.
