GRAIN AND PRODUCE. Since the resumption of business after 'the holidays, we are unable to notice anything special in the grain market. Trade in most of the departments ha 3 been of a meagre character ; the demand locally, and for export, being only a remove from stagnation. The latest advices from London, although repprting 11 firmer tone, do not show any appreciable Improvement in prices. Whb^t.— Quotations remain at 3s 4d to 3s 5d for prime pearl and Tuscan, and Ss 3d to 3s 4d or ■Snater's. The demand is very dull, -aud sales difficult to effect. Oats.— There is no change in priceß, with only a moderate business passing. Hilling, Is lOd to Is lid; good feed, Isß>.<l to Is 9£d; light and in. f erior Is Sd to Is 7d. BabliET.— There has been nothing doing in feed or malting sorts. The latter is almost unobtainable. . Vxab.— Feed, 2s 03. to 2s 103 ; Prussian Blues, 3s to 3a 2a Gbasb Seed.— There is no enquiry either for ryegrass or cocksfoot. Duet Pko'mjce.— Butter, 5d to 6d ; oheese 3Jd to'dd.
