: «. [Per Press Association.] WELLINGTON, Nov. IS. The Baptist Union Conference has closed. The officers for the ensuing year were elected, as follows: — President, Rev T. Spurgeon (Auckland); Vice-Preuident, Rev A. North (Dunedin) ; Executive Council, Revs C. Dallaston, H. H. Driver, L. Shackleford, and J. Stanching, and Hon T. Dick. It was decided that the next annual meeting should be held at Christchurch.
