SYDNEY, Oct. 26. Sailed to-day— Hauroto, for "Wellington. MELBOURNE, Oct. 20, The Union Company's s.s. Rotoiaahaaa, sailed for the Blutf this afternoon. Melbourne Wool Sales. Messrs Goldsbrough and Co., Limited, held their usual weekly sale of wool to-day. The attendance was large and competition good, especially for light wools of good quality,greasybulkypieces,andgood lambs. There was a good demand for heavy wools, but earthy wools were difficult to dispose of. The catalogue comprised 5000 bales, of which 1600 bales found purchasers. Greasy wool brought as much as tenpence per lb, lambs' wool twelvepence halfpenny, and scoured wool fourteenpence.
