Half-yearly Meeting. [Per Peess Association.! AUCKLAND, Oct. 27. The half-yearly meeting of the Bank of New Zealand was held at noon to-day, Dr J. L. Campbell presiding. The Directors' report showed the net profits for the halfyear to be j626,511 16s lid, which, with tho balance from the last half-year gave .£•1.1,106 7e 2d available for distribution. They proposed to carry JE35,000 to the contingency account; and the remainder to profit and loss in the new account.
