o [Per Psess Association.] HOTUEKA, Oct. 13. A dinner, to which a largo number sat down, was given at Motueka last night to Mr Hursthouse, the Mayor of Nelson in the chair. Very great regret was expressed that by the readjustment of the electoral districts Mr Hufsthouse's promising career had been checked.
