Late la3t night a move was mads in favour of The Levite for the Caulfleld Cup, and he was backed to win JSSOOO at 100 to 10. He is now much fancied, and the best price about him is' 100 to 12. This morning was dull and threatening, and a large number of horaeaworeoixt working. Trident and Abercorn strode along for a mile and a half in company, the pair moving in taking style, and they finished strong. Their stable companion, Volcano, the favourite for the Caulfleld Cup, was the next to appear, and he was sent the journey, his performance being the bost to-day. Volcano i 3 in first- class condition. Silver Prince and Enfilade worked together, and put in a good gallop. Enfilade has much improved' in hia going. Dunlop was exerciEed alone, 1 and negotiated -a couple of mil'iPj going freely and finishing strong. Thunderbolfchas been doing good work. Mr Orozier'a Lara had a spin over the Caulfield, Oup distance, and finished in grand style. Escutcheon was exercised over a mile and a. half at half pace. The Levite did a nerviceable gallop.
