SUPPOSED OUTRAGE AND MURDER.
Mr Wynne E. Baxter, Coroner fo. Middlesex, on August G issued a warranfor the holding of an inquest upon thi body of a woman, whose name is suppose* to be Susan Jay, who died at the Londoi hospital on Friday. It is stated that th woman was found lying in the four-foo way of the Great Eastern railway betweei Stratford and Coburn road on Augus 1. She was very much injured, am in a comatose condition ; but upon beinj taken to the hospital rallied sufficiently t: give her name and age. When asked a3 t how she got upon the line, she stated tha she had been insulted in the train am maltreated, but was not able to give infer mation rs to whether she, was thrown f rot the carriage or fell while endeavouring t escape from her assailants. The run f rot Stratford to Coburn road is about two mile without a stoppage, there being no intei mediate station.
