THE RADCLIFFE CASE.

Considerable indignation ha 3 been expressed in town over the apparent remiasnesß of the authorities in South Australia in permitting the escape of the Rev. W. Radcliffe. It ia understood that a meeting of his creditors was held this morning, when it was decided to make enquiries as to the practicability of pursuing him further. Of course, the want of information at present as to the route he has taken from Adelaide renders it uncertain whether it would be practicable to stop him. Satisfaction was expressed, it is stated, with file very prompt and energetic manner in which the Christchurch police acted in the affair, for that Mr RadcliEe escaped was certainly no fault of theirs.
