Conceet. — Lost evening the Linwood Football Club held a concert at the Oddfollows' Hall, East Belt, under the patroaage of the Linwood Town Board. The attendance was very large, ani an excellent programme provided. Hiss Graham sang " Caller Ou "■ very nicely ; and for two capital comic songs, "The Girls" and "Never Court a Girl ' Who's a Dove," Ltr F. Hynian was encored. Mr D. Dunlop gave a violin solo, from the "Mikado," and Mr E. Brookes, the accompanist for the evening, a piano solo, " March Militaire." Amongst others who contributed to the enjoyment of the evening may ho mentioned Misses E. and E. Mazey and Dobbs, Messrs Gr. Mason, J. Francis, F. Alexander. The • orchestra also performed during the even- ' i ing, and were loudly applauded for their ! overture. The gathering was brought to ' a conclusion by all present sing " God Save . the Queen."
