A Relic of the Recamia.

AUCKLAND, Sept. U. At Kaipara Head 3 on Sunday last a youth picked up a beard with the following words written upon it in pencil :— " Off the Heads" on our beam end-*.— J. Hoist, Recamia." This was probably thrown overboard from the ketch Recamia wrecked off Kaipara Heads on August 24. A lifebuoy and an ash oar belonging to the vessel were also discovered.
