Madge declined tho first obstacle, but was got over at the second attempt, and at once joined the leaders. Madge and Brown Boy showed the way over tho first double, and from thta until near homo the field was lost to sight. As they re-appearpd on the racecourse opposite the Eennels Madge and Larrikin were in front, with Phantom next, and Premier and Chutney lying very much out of tho corn-so to tho right. Madgo waa first to the last fence, where she fell, and Larrikin, in charging a gate in the same obstacle, also camo to grief. Mr Aynsley wa3 first up, and, leading his mount to the winning post, won, the others following in straggling order.
