A cablegram received here announces the death of Bishop, who was shot by a woman on July 1, onboard the E.MLS. Alameda; at San Francisco. Bishop waa for many years a chemist here, and lately; sold his business. He has a wife and family in Auckland.

AUCKLAND, Jui,y SO.. Bishop, who was shot by a woman oa board the mail steamer, at San Franoiseo, and the news of whose death has just been received, is said to have a wife and family in Auckland.
