XONDON, Jtob 10/ The Agents-General and several well-known Colonists have been invited as guests to Her* Majesty's Garden Party at Buckingham Palace on the 29th inst.

The Colonists who have been /invited to witness the pageant ftt Westminster Abbey on the Jubilee Day include Sir Patrick and Lady Jen* nings, Sir Eobert and Lady Wi_dom, Sir Daniel and Lady Cooper, Sir 0. and Lady ificholson, Messrs Hj, C. Danzar, Alexander Campbell, Charles Campbell, J. B. Sutter, Judge Wia- 1 deyer, Messrs G. D. S. Ogilvie, J- H. Neale, Henry Moses, Sir J. and lady Lorimer, Sir .E. Langton, Mr J. M'lntyre, Mr Fulton, Mra and Miss Higginbotham, Mr and Mrs J. Forrest, Messrs M. H. Black, J. C. Smyth, Mr Brentnall, Mr S. Deering, Mr Sewell, Sir E. and Lady Stafford, Sir Charles and Lady Clifford, Mr W. Gisborne, Mr W. Forrest, and Mr S. Burt. About 600 Colonists will occupy the stand close to Westminster Abbey. Owing to rumours that an attempt would be made to use dynamite on Tuesday, Westminster Abbey has been thoroughly searched and- is being most jealously guarded. The audience will be officially warned to avoid a panic in the event of any unforseen accident happening. The interior of the Abbey is completely changed, and is decorated with great splendour. The seating accommodation has been largely increased, and seats now reach; nearly to the roof. The route of the procession will be of unequalled grandeur, and masts of festoons and flags will line the road. Every house will be gaily decorated with bunting, and numerous stands are to be provided, from which the public will have a fine opportunity of witnessing the Eoyal Processioni Many of the Clubs have erected elegant balconies. These will be illuminated On a mosfc extensive scale: but there is a deficiency of origi. nality in design. Some striking combinations are, however, being arranged. Arrangements are also being made to illuminate the whole of the streets and various squares, two triumphal arches are to ba erected, the Eoyal Exchange is to be lighted with 25,000 coloured lamps, and the Bank of England has made arrangements for their premises to be Illuminated by 10,000' gas jets oi striking designs. The decorations of thei Mansion House are of splendid appearance, and there are numerous columns of garlanded lamps. The principal newspaper offices, banks, insurance offices, warehouses, will also be brilliantly illuminated. The gateway and walls of Marlborough House arc especially well decorated. The Embassies will also illuminate theii residences. The provinces have arranged to enthusiastically celebrate the Jubilee, and the deserving pool of London are receiving many treats-. liONDON, *Juke 20.

The Queen to-morrow will discard mourning, and will appear in a lavender costume. One hundred represent tatives of the working class have been invited to witness the ceremony at Westminster Abbey. The Archbishoj o£ Canterbury and Tork, and the Bishop of London will officiate. The choir will comprise three hundred voices, specially reserved to sing Princt Albert's Te Deum and a special anthem written by Dr Bridge.
