The Chairman said that in two cases no application for an extension of time had been made, but as there appeared to be some misunderstanding about the necessity for an application being made, the Committee assumed that the extension was asked for and granted it. The licensees, however, should bear in mind that the Act required a personal application for the extension. The Committee were glad to notice that the police report on the houses in the whole district was extremely favourable.
