Mutual Provident Society's Annual Meeting.
[Kbuteb's Tblboeams.] FEeceiTed April 26, it 12 50p.m.l dYDNKT, Ars.il 26. The thirty-eighth annual meeting of members of the Mutual Provident Society was held yesterday, when, the annual report was adopted, with ten unimportant alterations. A discussion toot place on the subject of a pension for the retiring Secretary. It was decided to adopt the report, without, however, deciding on the motion against the proposed pension, this not being regarded as an approval of the same bj the meeting. Messrs King and M'Elhone's motions .were withdrawn, and will be discussed when the bylaws come xip for consideration on May 16. The result of the election of directors will be made known this morning.
