RESIGNATION OF LIEUr.-COL. TOSSWILL. Lieutenant - Colonel Tosswill, Com- ' mander of the First Battalion Oanterj bury Rifles, has sent in his resignation !to the Minister of Defence. It is an 1 open secret that " relations have been ] strained " between Colonel Toeswill and I the district authorities for some time past, ! and it is understood that herein Imb the ] cause of his resignation.
