♦— - [Pbb Pbsbb Association.] TO-DAY'S SITTING. WELLINGTON, Feb. 9. At the Presbyterian Assembly this morning a letter was read from the Rev Dr Blaikie, Edinburgh, relative to sending a representative to the Alliance. It was decided that if any minister from the New Zealand church happened to be at Home at the time the Alliance meets, he should be commissioned to represent the New Zealand • church. The testimonial of the Rev Mr [ Dunlop, appointed to the Professorship of Theology at tho Otago University, forwarded by the Otago Synod for the information of the Assembly, were read and acknowledged. A Committee was appointed to consider the Treasurer's report. • It stated that the balance- sheet showed „GG9 15s 7tl at present in the hands of Mr M'Cosh Clark, Auckland-; also, .£9O in the hands of the Roy Mr Sidey, Napier. Of thi. sum JB4OO must be remitted > to Sydney immediately, in payment 1 of missionaries' salaries • .£IOO to the Day spr ing ; and other liabilities amounting to JBIIS, leaving a balance of about £150. Tho question of receiving the Rev C. Worboys iDto the Church was remitted | to a special Committee for consideration.
