Colonial sheep are slightly firmer in value, a few Melbourne of fine quality, having made 2s 6d, and the best Canterbury 2s Bd. The present prices are as follows: New Zealand sheep, 2* 4d to 2s 8d per stone ; Melbourne, 23 4d to 2a 6d; Eiver Plate, 2s; English wethers, 43 4d to 43 8d; English ewes, 3s 2d to 3s 6d ; Dutch and Tanning wethers, 3s 9d to 4s ; Dutch and Tanning ewes, 3s to 33 4d.
