■» A correspondent has asked for information as to the British regiments wearing the kilt. Tho reply, which may be interesting to many, iB as follows : — lßt Battalion Royal Highlanders (The Black Watch), late 42nd Regiment. 2nd Battalion Eoyal Highlanders (The Black Watch), late 73rd Regiment. Ist Battalion Seaforth Highlanders, kte 72nd (Duke of Albany's Own). 2nd Battalion Seaforth Highlanders, late 78Lh (Rossshire Buffs). Ist Battalion Gordon Highlanders, late 75th Regiment. 2nd Battalion Gordon Highlanders, late 92nd Gordon Highlanders. Ist Battalion Queen's Own Cameron Highlanders, late 79th. Ist Battalion Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders, late 91bt Argylshire Highlanders. 2nd Battalion Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders, late 93rd Sutherland Highlanders. The Ist Battalion Seaforth (72nd) were not kilted before the territorial system came into force, or the 2nd Battalion Royal Highlanders, or the let Battalion Gordon (75th), or Ist Battalion Argyll (91st).
